We care for all kinds of pets: dogs and cats, rabbits, hamsters, birds, fish, turtles...
Some of our sitters have training in care for animals such as reptiles and horses. Please ask us and we’ll be happy to do our best to help you with your specific needs.
What areas do you serve?
Us, Pets and Fun provide services throughout the East Bay area. Main locations served are Berkeley, El Cerrito, Albany, Marina Bay, Point Richmond, Richmond, El Sobrante, Emeryville, Piedmont, Oakland and Alameda.
What services do you offer?
Private on-leash dog walks, off-leash group dog outings, in-home pet visits, in-home overnight sitting, private boarding, day and evening care, pet taxi. Contact us for special requests.
What are your rates?
Please call us/email us and we will be happy to give you our rates. Rates are based on different factors such as type and frequency of services, number of pets you have.
How do you choose your professional handlers?
Us, Pets and Fun’s priority is the safety and security of our clients, their pets and their homes. All new potential hires undergo an extensive screening process. We seek individuals who are experienced with animals, have excellent employment history and customer service skills and above all show true dedication to this profession. Each sitter is trained before being sent in the field.
Can I be assured the same Dog walker, Pet Sitter each time?
We prefer and will do our best to keep the same sitter assigned to your pet each time. In the case that your primary sitter has an emergency or is already booked at the dates you request services, we will provide a backup sitter.
When will I meet my sitter?
When you book our service and we have scheduled an in home consultation, you can expect your sitter to come to your home prior to service to meet you and your pet(s).
What is the purpose of the In-Home consultation?
During the In-Home consultation (free of charge) you will have the opportunity to meet your sitter and your sitter and pet will be able to create a bond before service starts. The sitter will gather all necessary information to guarantee the best care for your pet(s). At that time, please provide a house key which we will retain, properly secured, so that we can provide you with continuous service and be ready to serve you and your pet(s) at anytime.
Can you provide references?
Our clients continuously use our services, and are the best testament to the quality of service that we provide. We come with glowing references. Please feel free to ask your sitter to provide them during your free in-home consultation.
Are you bonded and insured?
We are fully bonded and insured and proud members of Pet Sitter International (PSI). It ensures you that we take responsibility for your pets and property while they are in our care.
What if there is an emergency with my pet(s) while I am away?
In case of emergency, we will obtain care by veterinarian specified by owner during the consultation. Us, Pets and Fun also maintains up to date information on 24-hour emergency animal hospitals in your service area. Before your departure, your sitter will ask you telephone numbers where you can be reached and will take notes on all other pertinent information that you would like us to know in case of emergency.
